VRBG Agar (ISO 21528)

For the cultivation and enumeration of Enterobacteria in water, foods and other materials. Suspend 41.5 grams of the medium in one liter of distilled water. Mix well and dissolve by heating with frequent agitation. Boil for one minute until complete dissolution. Cool to 45ºC and dispense immediately. Alternatively, sterilize in autoclave at 118ºC for 15 minutes. Do not overheat.
