Omschrijving

BD Vacutainer® Glazen Natrium Heparine buis 10ml met groene conventionele dop

Lithiumheparine / natriumheparine BD Vacutainer® plasmabuizen voor klinische chemie zijn verkrijgbaar met gesproeidroogde natriumheparine- of lithiumheparine-additieven. Heparine werkt als een anticoagulans, omdat het een antitrombinecomplex ontwikkelt. Dit complex remt trombine en de geactiveerde factor X en voorkomt coagulatie. De optimale antistolling wordt bereikt in alle BD Vacutainer®-buisjes door het gebruik van 17 IE farmaceutische heparine per ml bloed wanneer het vulniveau correct is. De lithiumheparine in BD Vacutainer®-buizen wordt met behulp van een speciale procedure op de binnenwanden van de buizen gesproeidroogd, zodat het additief gelijkmatig wordt verdeeld om de best mogelijke oplosbaarheid te bereiken. Voor klinische chemie heeft lithiumheparine in het algemeen de voorkeur boven natriumheparine.

Het onmiddelijk correct mengen (8-10 inversies) van de BD Vacutainer®-heparinebuis nadat het bloedmonster is genomen is uitermate belangrijk om microcotting te voorkomen.
